Honors Program

The University Honors Program develops students into outstanding scholars, accomplished leaders, and model citizens.

RMU honors students have an exceptional commitment to their education.  The Honors Program offers them outstanding instruction in all areas, challenges them to grow intellectually, and prepares them for responsible citizenship.

The University Honors Program offers a 27-credit curriculum, including the capstone experiences of a seminar class and thesis project, an honors residence hall, and many opportunities to support honors students in their intellectual development.

Additionally, Robert Morris is the only private university in Western Pennsylvania to have a dedicated study and gathering space on campus for honors students, the Honors Student Center, and is also one of the few universities in the region to have an Office of Post-Graduate Opportunities, which helps honors students who desire to go to graduate school prepare their applications for competitive fellowships and scholarships.
