Honors Opportunities

In today's competitive job market, it is prudent to get involved outside of the classroom to set your resume apart from the crowd and to gain the skills that will enable you to advance in your career.   As a honors student there are many opportunities available to you to explore during your time at Robert Morris University.

In addition to participating in University Honors Program events and becoming involved with the Student Advisory Council, there are many off-campus opportunities available. Some of these programs are as short as a few days during break while others can provide you with class credit over the course of a semester. Some programs even pay a stipend! Explore the links to the right to find out more.

Contact honors@rmu.edu if you are considering applying for any of these programs. We can help with the application process and help identify any available sources of funding.

Students are also encouraged to attend the Honors Student Advisory Council meetings.  As a member of SAC, students can suggest and help organize events for honors events each semester. All honors students are welcome to attend the meetings, which are usually held in the Honors Student Center, to share their ideas.
